  1. Back End/Data/ML Engineer (SF)

    • Experience in smaller / mid-stage startups; previously she worked at Google Health, where she developed data pipelines for a commercial product supporting the training of a “medical brain,” and as a founding member at Geo Enterprise, securing a $50M contract through her contributions.

    • Proficient in Python, Java, and C++, with strong skills in backend systems, distributed systems, machine learning infrastructure, and data pipelines; also has experience from roles at Uber and PayPal.

    • Driven by impactful work that solves real-world problems, she seeks growth opportunities that leverage her expertise in data pipelines and backend systems while contributing to innovative projects in dynamic environments.

  2. IC/Data Infra Engineer (SF)

    • Currently a Tech Lead at Robinhood for batch processing and the Workflows platform, where he led a team in modernizing an outdated system, presenting their work at the Airflow summit; holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Computer Science from Cornell University.

    • Seeking an individual contributor role at an early-stage startup with opportunities for upward mobility into a Technical Leader position; eager to expand responsibilities and deepen expertise in various aspects of data platforms, beyond just batch processing.

    • Over 10 years in Data Infrastructure, including significant contributions as employee #15 at Trooly, where he solved scalability challenges by indexing billions of web pages while impacting multiple areas of development.

  3. AI/ML Engineer (SF)

    • Graduated from Carnegie Mellon in three years and holds a master’s from GIT; currently at Scale AI, where she leads the development of the ChatAI tutor using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agents, handling everything from data management to deployment.

    • As the main technical contributor on her project, she has significantly expanded the chatbot's capabilities, enhancing user experience and subject coverage while also pursuing side projects related to RAG and large language models (LLMs).

    • Career Aspirations: Open to leaving Scale AI due to a lack of challenge and growth opportunities; she seeks a role in a startup environment where she can work on impactful projects and eventually transition into an engineering management position, actively interviewing at various stages of startups.

  4. Staff Backend Engineer (NY)

    • Duke graduate with a strong background in large companies and most recently serving as a founding engineer at a YC-based data analytics startup passionate about startups and eager to join another one due to feeling capped in his current role.

    • At the YC startup, he designed and scaled the original algorithm and built the backend using Python while managing cloud infrastructure on AWS. Previously at Facebook, he worked on the Messenger API team and helped build a Substack-like platform that grew to over a million users within three months.

    • Seeking a staff backend role where he can engage in technically exciting projects that inspire him, aiming for a dynamic environment that fosters innovation and growth.

  5. Back End/ML Engineer (NYC)

    • CS degree from Carnegie Mellon with 8 years of experience; previously a Product Engineer at Thumbtack, focusing on backend development for a two-sided marketplace with a strong emphasis on search relevance and ranking.

    • Proficient in Golang, Scala, Python, and tools like the ELK stack and AWS/GCP; grew into tech lead responsibilities, mentoring a team of tech leads and engineers while directly contributing to double-digit revenue growth across 2023.

  6. Product Designer (NYC)

    • With 15 years of design experience, he has led design initiatives at multiple startups, including Blockchain.com and Say (acquired by Robinhood); he has a strong background in fintech and blockchain, proficient in Tailwind CSS and familiar with front-end frameworks, and has extensive skills in branding, product design, and user experience design.

    • Currently Head of Design at a large web3 messaging platform, he is actively interviewing for new opportunities, preferably on-site in NYC.

    • Seeking to be among the first designers at a startup, ideally focusing on 0-1 product launches in the fintech space; he aims to transform technical products into user-friendly interfaces while contributing to branding and marketing across various assets.
