  1. Backend/Distributed Systems Engineer (SF)

    • With 11 years in the industry, he began his career in big tech at Google and Pinterest before falling in love with web3. He joined his current startup as a founding engineer at the seed stage, where he built the backbone for backend services that allow users to connect web2 and web3 identities, facilitating rapid iteration.

    • At Pinterest, he contributed to the ads analytical infrastructure, utilizing Apache Druid. He is strongest in Golang, Python, and TypeScript, and is proficient with technologies such as RESTful APIs, GraphQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka for event sourcing, Redis, Zookeeper, and distributed systems.

  2. Product Engineer (SF)

    • He is a Cornell graduate who most recently co-founded a startup that he is currently winding down with his co-founder. He considers himself a product engineer with experience in infrastructure and backend development, having worked at Google and Airbnb.

    • Joined Gem when the company had just 20 employees and played a key role during a pivotal phase as they began breaking into the enterprise market, celebrating significant milestones such as signing a contract with SpaceX. At Adept, he focused on infrastructure work, specifically related to training AI models.

  3. Infra/Security/Distributed Systems Engineer (NYC)

    • A graduate of Princeton, he has significant experience in engineering roles, most recently at a VC-backed AI startup, where he built an LLM product, led the technical direction of the team, and mentored junior engineers while influencing design decisions. He is comfortable working across the stack but has a strong passion for backend infrastructure engineering, scaling, and platform development.

    • He is proficient in Python and Java and has extensive experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and Azure. Prior to his current startup, he co-founded a startup in the pharmaceutical space with his father and served as a Staff Engineer at LinkedIn (L5 - L6), where he honed his skills in a high-impact environment.

  4. Back End/Full Stack Engineer (NYC)

    • She graduated from Berkeley in just 3 years and has been at VC-backed fintech for the past two years, joining as employee #45. After a reorganization that downsized the team to 20, she took on a tech lead role for a 0-1 project, successfully building and launching their second most used accounting automation product.

    • She owned the development and successful launch of their highest revenue-generating Expense Management product and served as tech lead for the accounting product built from the ground up.

    • She differentiates herself with a passion for product involvement and understanding user value. Proficient in TypeScript, Python, React, APIs, and NLP, she is highly motivated to join a startup centered around AI and is eager to work closely with intelligent founders and a collaborative team in an office setting.

  5. Full Stack Engineer (NYC)

    • A Computer Science graduate from Brown, she co-founded a nonprofit startup during her time there and successfully participated in Brown's acceleration program. This experience fueled her desire to work with young startups.

    • As engineer #4 at VC-backed health + wellness startup, she served as a Full-Stack Frontend Leaning Tech Lead, building multiple products and core features from the ground up, including their mobile app. She is proficient in TypeScript, Next.js, React, React Native, and Node.js.

  6. Back End/Full Stack Engineer (NYC/SF/Remote)

    • He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has over 15 years of experience across both startups and enterprise environments. His roles have varied from Founding Engineer to Staff Engineer, with expertise in architecting distributed web applications and leading engineering teams.

    • He has extensive experience in fintech, payroll, HR benefits, and international tax domains, having worked through all stages of startups from Seed to Series D/E, including participation in IPO processes.

    • Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and various cloud technologies (AWS, Digital Ocean), he is primarily backend-focused but also possesses full-stack experience. His interests lie in building and scaling products in early stages, collaborating with technical founders in high-impact environments, and tackling complex backend challenges in distributed systems and scalable architecture.
